Persipura Jayapura executive director La Sya said on Saturday that he was uncertain about the scheduling of the upcoming AFC Cup match against Arbil FC of Iraq planned for Sept. 13 in Jayapura.
"I am confused. When we asked our opponent when they would arrive in Jayapura, they just said later," he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
He said Persipura had had no difficulties in the previous home matches against East Bengal of India and South China of Hong Kong.
He said he expected Arbil would announce its final decision about the match at least a week before the scheduled date of Sept. 13.
"We are now in intensive talks with them [Arbil]," he said.
